If Apple’s next iPhone looks this good Samsung and Huawei should be worried

Posted online by the team at ConceptsiPhone, the phone has been given some stunning design upgrades including a bezel-free screen that is free from the controversial notch or hole-punched front-facing camera.

There’s also a much more industrial feel to the look of the device with square edges that get a striking chrome finish – in fact, this styling is reminiscent of the older and much-loved iPhone 5.

One final change shown off in the footage is a nifty virtual keyboard and giant screen which beams out from the sides of the phone via a projector.

This offers users a PC-style experience via the phone in their pocket.

Of course, like all concept videos, these are simply ideas and there’s nothing to suggest the next Apple iPhone will look anything like this or have any tricks up its sleeve such as hidden projectors or an invisible front-facing camera.

Rumours are rife that the US firm is about to unleash a budget device which could arrive as soon as next month.

Many had been expecting this phone to get the SE branding but latest reports suggest this may not be the case with Apple opting for the iPhone 9 name instead.

Renders of the alleged iPhone recently surfaced courtesy of OnLeaks – a tipster with an excellent track record, especially when it comes to Apple leaks – and iGeeksblog.

The handset was shown looking extremely similar to the older iPhone 8 thanks to its aluminium rear, Touch ID button, single camera and thick bezels above and below its display.

Apple is no stranger to holding an event in March with the firm often announcing new gadgets in the spring.

If you fancy something a little more premium than a new version of the iPhone SE then you’ll probably have to wait until September.

This is when Apple always reveals its flagship devices and 2020 could be the year when we see the first iPhone with 5G technology.

5G is the future of smartphones with it offering downloads at much faster speeds than current 4G.

All of Samsung’s latest Galaxy S20 devices now include 5G compatibility and it’s unlikely that Apple will want to be left behind for too long. Watch this space.
